Team Baseball registration opens early in the calendar year. The KNBSB baseball season runs April through June (with a summer pause), with the Fall season running from mid-August through the end of October. A Winter Baseball Clinic is offered during the Winter months.
ABF sponsors teams which compete in the Dutch baseball league (KNBSB). League play requires a level of commitment to the team, both from the the player and the parents, to both practice and being available to play scheduled games. Practice is an integral part of the team experience. Play in the higher levels of the Dutch league requires higher fees to cover league registration, umpiring fees, field usage fees, insurance and training expenses.
Uniforms: ABF baseball uniforms can be purchased directly through our supplier, SSK, via their website. SSK ships directly to the customer without ABF's involvement. Please use the link below to purchase full uniforms, single items and other accessories.
REGISTRATION: Registration fees are used to cover the actual costs of administering what is otherwise an all volunteer program and club. ABF Baseball Program costs include facility usage/ maintenance fee charged to ABF (70%); KNBSB participation fee, umpiring and new equipment expenses (20%); Gemeente Wassenaar levy, liability insurance (6%); and club administrative costs i.e. website, payment portal and bank charges (4%).
